Art deco celluloid hair ornament. The light weight ball is full of sparkly paste rhinestones (higher lead content that catch the light) and tiny dots of paint. The ball is 1 and 1/4 inch across. The stem part measures 3 and 1/4 inches in length. There are 2 tiny holes in the stem, where I believe you can secure with additional hair pins. This hair jewelry is onramental and would have been added to hair that is already secured.
