We have many fun whimsical bee and butterfly pins, as well as other cute bug pins. Coro made several fly and bee pins in the 1940’s and early 1950’s. It could be fun to wear a pair of Coro flying bug pins around a flower brooch. Figural brooches were very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. Trembler brooches, or pins with tiny springs that allowed parts of the pin to move or tremble such as wings, were popular in the early 1900s as well as the 1950s through the 1980s.
We had a large native pollinator garden added to our front yard. And our garden is buzzing with activity! Several types of bees, butterflies, and various pretty bugs.
Shown below is a trio of signed Coro Pegasus jeweled flying bug pins.

I made a video collection of vintage bee and butterfly pins from the 1940’s through the 1970’s:
And here is a rusty patched bumble bee in our garden. The rusty patched bumble bee is the Minnesota state bee; They are listed endangered status. Bee pins have always been one of the more popular bug pins.
